About the Ping SOV Fixer

Ping Data Intelligence's SOV Fixer normalizes incoming Statements of Value (SOVs) and can also integrate additional data from a number of 3rd party sources. The SOV Fixer will accept most any Excel formats, but we are always improving to expand acceptable styles of SOVs.

Ping SOV Fixer Technical Workflow

  1. Email or API sent to SOV Fixer
    1. Client sends in SOV or ACORD through email or API to a configured domain whitelist
      1. Clients can send any market SOV to their respective Ping endpoint. All that is required in the body of the email is an excel document containing the SOV.
  2. SOV Fixer
    1. Input documents are received
      1. SOV Fixer supports a vast number of variations of incoming SOVs, with few restrictions. It requires only that the SOV has buildings in rows with headers atop the columns. Additionally, PDFs of an excel sheet are not accepted. However, if you have specific licensing, ACORD PDFs can be sent to SOV Fixer, like an excel sheet, to be parsed.
    2. SOV or ACORD is parsed
    3. Data from the parsed files is enriched using various APIs from 3rd-party sources
    4. Output is returned to client via email or API

All steps of this process are stored in a Snowflake Data Warehouse and can be accessed at any time.

Getting Started With SOV Fixer

Ping should return an email within minutes of your message being sent. The return email includes a dashboard of triage information along with the parsed SOV.

When sending in a market SOV to SOV Fixer, we encourage you to spend little time reviewing the original SOV. If there are multiple tabs, the SOV Fixer will concatenate all the tabs it finds with location information into one tab.
